I just liked how I could still taste it five minutes after a sip, when my wife sent me downstairs to get more paper towels. I remember cracking the faintest of smiles when I was all alone in the bowels of my home and whispering "man this is good 😏." Cellaring time was well worth it in this case. I felt like the body wasn't as thick and syrupy as a younger Tommasi Amarone, but it was still heavy and lingering... and I like this fact.

A full bodied wine with aromas of plums and raisins. Taste of dark fruits and got spicier the longer it decanted! Really nice wine.

Excellent amarone. Bought some to sock away. Can't wait to see what it's like in another 3-5 years.
