Would say it's subtle or elegant. Has a harshness, both on nose and palate finish. High alcohol? Yep. Some nice ripe fruit characters and the front palate is smooth, but not a wine I'm loving. Edit: This improved significantly overnight. And oddly, took on a herbaceous aroma like weed. Decant hours before drinking.
