Dark ruby in color with a short brick rim.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Showing black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates, earth and herbs.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious Merlot from Napa Valley. Showing a great nose with lots of complexity.

This 16 year old is peaking now. Elegant, yet rich.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.

14.8% alcohol by volume.

This is some absolutely beautiful Merlot right here. Bold and dark, cedar and pepper notes throughout. It's a blend of 76% Merlot, 13% Malbec, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon - aged 20 months in Hungarian Oak, and only 18 barrels produced. This is the last vintage of the merlot being sourced from the estate, due to the vineyards being ripped up to build the parking lot for the winery.

It's certainly a big wine that could use some age, but it'll turn out to be similar to some mature Pomerol or Fronsac.

Approx 350 cases made 🍷 incredible value for the price. Dense and concentrated black and blue fruits. Well integrated tannins, long finish. This would be a good buy at twice the price.

Wow. Soft spot in my heart for Titus. Ridiculous complexity - red licorice, mouthwatering, chocolate cake. Huge reward for will power.
