On the palate this is rich yet balanced, soft, suave, mouthcoating tannins and great juicy fruit balanced with nice acidity. Add a pinch of black pepper towards the finish. This is really nice, has character & precision, and is a perfect match for a tagliata on rucola.

Some cherry on the nose, but more silky blackberry on the palate. Flinty, firm, full-bodied, with a drawn out finish that is very pleasant.
