Slightly more robust and complex than a normal Pinot which makes for interesting drinking. Not quite as smooth as expected but at the end of the day still a quality wine

For the price point this is a good Pinot. I think I paid $14 a bottle for it so well and truly pleased. Drinking beside a Mornington Pinot and the colour difference is remarkable. The NZ Pinot is almost opaque where as the Mornington is translucent. Good fruit in both but the NZ wins on the end lasting berry flavour.
