Deep purple in color; blackcherries, plums, and cedar on the nose; medium acidity; medium tannins; tastes like stewed strawberries, hibiscus, crushed gravel, and a hint of eucalyptus with a medium finish. I like it, but there a bitter taste that I can't figure out, so I'm lowering the score by a couple points. Nellie likes it.

Smooth with very little bite. We had it with Porterhouse steaks and everyone went out and bought a case afterwards.
