Thumbprint wines never disappoint.

Raspberry green beans. Balanced and fruity.

Blackberry, vanilla, a little veg and pencil shaving. Mid+ body, smooth finish. Pretty well balanced.

Prune, baking spice. Oxidised but still good flavor profile and structure. Alcohol prevalent.

Green beans, blackberry. Nicely balanced.

I think we sadly missed this one by 1-2 years. Vegetative, prune, slightly oxidized and the alcohol not in balance anymore.

Aged perfectly.

Not the winner tonight - maybe we waited a bit too long to drink? Or maybe this 2011 just didn’t settle down. Familiar dried fruit and green pepper but unbalanced. Looking forward to the 2010.

Green pepper, dark cherry and clove. Chocolate, cherry and leathery finish. Blammo.
