Reddy Vineyards Syrah

Clear,  medium plus ruby in color; on the nose,  it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of black plums, black pepper, and tobacco; on the palate,  it's dry with high acidity,  medium plus tannins,  high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of blueberries, blackberry jam,  tar, and black olives with a long finish. This wine needs to breath for a bit. The bitterness diminished after about an hour in the decanter and there is now a note of cocoa on the nose. This wine is balanced and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it too.
