Jul 22nd, 2016I am not going to lie, I don't know much about cab. It struck me as very dry at first, but I noticed more of a generic grape juicy taste the more I drank it. I am guessing that means it's not that complex for a cab (I always hear people talk about cab like it's supposed to be the world's most complex wine). I liked it well enough for a Friday night after work with Pizza. It has a fun little telling of the owners on the label. I will try another vintage sometime and maybe another wine from the same Vineyard.
*Edit: I noticed some kind of a subtle strawberry which was kind of cool after a while of drinking it, but maybe I am just drunk.
