Birthday French shenanigans party! As solid as I've had from a really hot year.

An excellent bottle and a stellar example of Oregon Pinot.

Acid forward, light red fruit, light tar on back end. Feels like Pinot with some Nebbiolo...warm vintage, holding up better than most 06's I've tasted recently.

Probably my fav producer in all of Oregon. Drank for TxGv dinner and it did not disappoint. Dark cherry on nose & palate. Additional aromas of earth, mushroom, and leather. Very smooth palate of black cherry, plum, spices, and a trace of minerality. Fantastic balance, particularly on the mid-palate, and a medium-long finish. An excellent wine in a mediocre vintage.
