Some reduction notes mutes the (dark) fruits but overall a very good wine for $25.
Despite Moulin-a-Vent’s generally being my favorite candidate for aging I would opt to drink this on the earlier side (2018-21).

Dammit - why isn't my cellar full of great Beaujolais. Severed chilled this is the absolute best red of the summer!! 2009 is just stunning wine ruby color - a hint of salted meat, minerality, and soft red fruits! rocking The picnic at 13% alcohol! 95 points and wishing I had a bunch more - drink now! Tomorrow and 10 years from now!!

Deeper and more dark for a Beaujolais. Dusty, mossy on the nose and a more tart red fruit finish

2023 summer. Showing some maturity with brown spice and mushroom on the nose; still some velvety fruit on the palate

It was bound to happen eventually...my final btl, and perhaps best yet. A lovely, exuberant Moulin-a-vent Sad this is my final btl, sigh.

A striking nose of dark fruits, leads to a pungent palate and high quality overall structure. It’s wild and untamed, tastes like some high quality wine making in a fairly extracted style. Provocative - could divide opinion.

Violet & inky, smoky on the nose, lighter body, satin on the tongue, tastes of cherry, red fruits, and camp fire.

Nice but just not quite as integrated as I was hoping for. Lots of deep red / black fruit on the nose. Mouth filling and on cork pop quite chewy. Definitely needs a couple hour decant at this stage. With some time and air this is quite nice but the finish is still just a touch disjointed.

Tasted blind in Somm 1 class. Threw me for a loop because of the tannin levels. This feels like it could age for decades.
