Theopetra Estate
Malagouzia Assyrtiko
Popped and poured. The wine pours a light straw color with a light green hue. Medium plus viscosity, and no signs of particles or gas. On the nose the wine is expressive of white flowers, star fruit, lemons, and crushed gravel. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is a touch waxy. This was a delicious pairing with langoustine pasta.

Jan 21st, 2021Now that’s a tasty wine from the foothills around the prehistoric cave of Theopetra. Blossomy herby nose and a tangy peaches-on-hot-stone palate. Very very satisfying bottle
