Hint of coffee and dark chocolate. Nice smooth mouthfeel without hint of heat. I opened it and poured gently into the glass and let it breathe for about 10 minutes.

I want to score this in the 9’s, but I can’t. It is close, but missed that mark. For me, the acidity is too pronounced. The wine lacks balance.
