This is the lencioni single vineyard. 2013 was the first vintage. It was obviously the weaker sibling of all the single vineyards for that year. Kinda thin and simple. However, the winemaker adapted to the vineyard because this is a much stronger showing. It's the most western vineyard (livermore is east-west so west means cooler...think oak knoll equivalent). It is hillside. Again, a cabernet style that is going for acidity and elegance. Olive along with fruit. 90-91

Jul 24th, 2018Lencioni single vineyard. Not the reg bottling. Its the oak knoll/yountville of livermore. Farthest west. Got that olive on it. Steven's wines develop nicely with age. Less alcohol, less extraction. Balance between ripeness and elegancez
