Bright ruby with aromas of red fruits and sweet spices, aged for 14 months in 40% new French oak, bit of Syrah added to blend, Russian River and Carneros fruit. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry with underlying crispness, adding in some citrus, vanilla and spice. Fine tannins, long finish, well balanced complex ending. Very Nice!

Pinot on the heavier side. Robust and definitely oaky. Not what I was expecting but certainly the old version of Cali Pinot.
