Ok wine experts, help me out. I had this wine 4 months ago, same brand, same year, and it was very enjoyable.
This bottle is bitter, with a nasty after taste.
I'd say it was corked, but it has a screw top.
Its been in my wine fridge, but It was purchased after my first bottle.
Any ideas?
Napa, ca. 13.5 % abv.

Citrus, slightly sweet, mineral finish. Is this a chardonnay imposter?
An enjoyable sipper, next to the fire place on a very cold Wisconsin evening .

I needed a tart dry wine to offset an apricot and honey glazed chicken breast. This wine did the job.
As a stand alone sipper, its a so so wine, but good with the right pairing.
Dry, mostly lemon citrus taste, mineral finish.
13.5% alc/vol. Napa, Ca.

Very citrus-y. Almost tastes like what a shandy does to a beer.

Acidic and slightly sweet. Not my sort of thing though others seemed to quite enjoy it.

Nice and light, ends a little bit minerally with just a touch of dryness.

Not fruity or sweet. Not dry. It has a nice, smooth taste and serves well with grilled pork and vegetables. A great summer wine for sipping on the porch!
