I may be more partial to Thai (‘18) blend than most, because I am grooving on it. For the price in particular, the ‘18 Leese-Fitch brings a ton to the table. For being labeled simply as a general ‘red’ from the broad area of all of California- this brings it. Smoky plum and cedar notes then reveal a surprisingly rich and palate coating attack. Well composed tannins and a delightfully balanced finish makes this a find, if you can find it. Good juice!

Dark plum color. Floral and cherry scent on the nose.

Blend of petite sirah, merlot, zinfandel, barbera mourvedre, and tempranillo. Talk about a dog from every town.

Dry fruit taste, , Low acidity, mild tannins, long finish. Pairs well with tomato based pasta, pizza, even burgers . My supermarket QPR wine for under $10.

Napa, Ca. U.S.A. 14% abv.

Plummy and berry, a good wine for a weeknight meal. A light tomato based sauce or bright foods. Not acidic. Benefits from a good amount of air @Sam Stehle

Great value wine. The bold fruit went well with a spicy pasta dish. 2014 vintage in Dec 2019.

Attractive deep color... nice subtle scent. More earthy than jammy. No bite. Good stand-alone, or with dinner. We had salmon and asparagus. Great value for the price!
