Jammy new world Syrah. Saving grace is the tannins which give it reasonable structure. It has the tobacco, bacon fat, and smoke that I expect on high-end Syrah, but the fruit just overwhelms me. No doubt Parker raves about this wine.

This isn't Stolpman vineyards its Presidio Vineyards But wow love how this is aging great fruit much more integrated than the 2008 - wow big tannins but very nice fruit and cured meat

Elegant, aromatic, silky texture, peppery, definitely not a lightweight Syrah. It's a winner!
