The Naked Grape
California Chardonnay
Quite decent for a box wine, this unoaked Chardonnay had a bit of residual sugar, allowing the pear and nectarine fruits to shine. Not a fine wine by any stretch, it is decent enough to sip while preparing the evening meal.

Oct 11th, 2017$8 My favorite of the 3 at D's wine tasting. Light and yummy. Just the right amount of sweetness. A small tangy bite at the end.

Apr 7th, 2016Pretty light for a Chardonnay not smoky at all but fruity , think mangoes, pineapple and cardamom . Good for those who want to ease into Chardonnays.

Mar 10th, 2016Pretty vanilla - can't put my finger on it but somethings a bit off. Good first impression was tempered as I kept drinking it

Aug 16th, 2015Boring. Like the most generic white wine ever. Semi-sweet. Watered-down stone fruits with a very mild acidic finish. Would be good for sangria. Paired with fresh corn in a sweet potato black bean taco. Could not keep up with the flavors of the taco.
