Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Just a very bland cab sauv. Typical large producer making an anonymous bottle that could be any grape to be honest

Had better, but had worse

For the knock down price of £8.00 from Majestic this was a red with a good deep colour. On opening it had a blast of raspberry and then settled to a more expected cherry.

Drinking was pleasant with a smooth taste with a slight spice surrounded by cherry and dark plum.

Decanted for 2 hours before drinking and paired well with toad-in-the-hole. Would be good on its own too.
