Intriguing north coast Cabernet...well rounded and fruit forward...pretty fresh and offers a wonderful bouquet on the nose. This bottle was given to me as a taster from a local distributor.

Dark berries with tobacco and old leather. Remarkably smooth for its age.

This is the best Hess has....

Rating again. I can drink this wine. But there is an almost medicinal dominating theme, like the raspberry cough medicine I had as a child. No tannins that I would expect from a cab. Not much acidity either. Disappointing.
