Hell of a week…scratch that…hell of a past 2 weeks. Time to put it all behind us and indulge in a new fruit forward, Napa smell, smooth, velvety yet light with no bite blend. Definitely will look to reorder next time out. Bonus: I’m with my “you ain’t going no where boo-thang”. Living in the moment.

Friday night workout straight to one of our favorite spots for wine and dinner. Notice the emphasis on WINE first. Beautiful notes, full body smell- lovely, like my beautiful wife. Deliciously smooth, light and jammy on the front end, great finish on the back. Definitely added to the fav list. Now back to letting my stunning company take over my full attention.

Deep ruby color. Perfumed nose of cherries and red berries with hints of cinnamon and roasted game. Very ripe cherry, black licorice, and slight smokiness on the palate. Big flavor and big alcohol at 15.5% with fine grained tannins. Cali take on Southern Rhône style blend with 77% Grenache and 23% Syrah. $60.

2011 in 2017. Lovely with cheddar and gruyere. Smooth finish with full body. No bitterness at all.

Very grounded and earthy. Lots of bite initially but then opens up. Lots of pepper.

Earthy for a Cali blend. Opens up nicely.

Lilacs? Florals and minerals floating around the nose. Sharp raisin and dried berries. Gorgeous.
