Pale straw in color, apple, melon and citric acid on the nose, a slight creaminess on the palate intensified by a cheese plate I did with it (making it better in my opinion), and low acidity. Notes of butter, pear and apple but kind of boring and nothing stuck out the way I expected it to. It's a GOOD wine for the price and I would drink it again but if you want something with traditional tastes from Carneros, spend $5 to $10 more and truly enjoy the flavors of one of my favorite wine regions in California!
