Timothy Olson Dry Creek Valley Syrah

Smooth and sophisticated, this is a Shiraz without the jam, with fruit-forward flavors of blueberry and red currant.

Oaky and perfectly well balanced tannins. Very surprising strong, long-lasting finish. The color is a DARK plum purple. It reminds me of a matured merlot. Very surprising Syrah. Vanilla and bright tobacco dominant this wine! Cheers!

Lots oak and tobacco and more fruity than expected

Smooth, but distinct oak and tannins. Nice lingering spice on the finish.

Pretty good! Dry. Warm taste with dry after taste (I like it)

Sweet but light.

Lots of ripe fruit. Somewhat heavy tannins.
