This Mendocino County Chardonnay saw no oak while being made, so it’s as clean and as bright as you like. The nose offers a beautiful lemon aroma with a salinity that reminds of an ocean spray. Lemons, apples and a fantastic acidity are on the palate. It was made for a clambake, but it will be just as much at home with crabs or lobsters.

Nov 5th, 2017A great Chardonnay for non-Chardonnay people! This wine is light and crisp, with a fruity taste instead of oak

Mar 14th, 2017Very drinkable Chardonnay for non-Chardonnay lovers. Not oakey but still rich in flavor and body. Citrus, cantaloupe notes.

Feb 12th, 2016Great label and concept. Pale gold color. Very much Bosc pear, yellow fruit. Starts good, falls off. Ends flat.

Jul 4th, 2015Love the label and name of this Chard. Perfectly fine wine, but the taste doesn't really match the name. It's unoaked, so it's clean and crisp. Wouldn't you want a buttery Chard at a clambake though?
