I believe I opened this at the right time, but it is on the back end of its life cycle. Upon opening the bouquet on This Petit Sirah was chocolate raspberry truffles with subdued tannins, medium 2 light bodied. As the night went on, that bouquet disappeared and what was left was short of medicinal. Still pleased with this 2006 all considering that my cellar isn't exactly professional grade, the wine held up pretty good.
