Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Holy macaroni this has developed nicely with age. Still extremely elegant and light on its feet thanks to lively acidity as well as beautiful stone fruit and citrus aromas. Gained some body since the last time I tasted. Roasted pistachio and hazelnut, lemon curd, creme anglaise, sea salt, candied orange peel. The finish just keeps going and going for a minute plus. I’m scared this might be my last bottle of the ‘14, need to go back and see if I can get some more as this will continue to evolve in the next year or two.

Jun 26th, 201815’ Texture Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. Citrusy, tart, creaminess. Lemon meringue pie comes to mind/a touch of yellow Lifesaver. A full- figure spectrum of flavors & textures. Couldn’t compare it to anything else.

14' Texture Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. Little oak to this very well-balanced and fruit driven Chardonnay.
Mar 6th, 201714' Texture Chardonnay. The color is a light pale yellow. White peach, orange peel, notes of pistachio, creamy- sour tarts. Just a nice touch of vanilla. The acidity enhances & pulls out the flavors beautifully. Clean with a elegance to it. Very light on it's feet. Would love to revisit this 2014 in a few years. Serve at close to room temperature. I would like to thank my friend @Joe Lucca for this amazing gift. Joe this is better then the last bottle we had. I must get a case of this👍.
Edit - A sense of crispiness & tanginess. California chard that you could truly pair with food quite nicely.

Jun 11th, 20162013: Pure pleasure. Tasted during the Pangloss Cellars open house on the Sonoma Plaza. Silky entry, immediately branching into distinctive layers to ponder. Understated finesse, possibly too subtle for some, yet exciting from start to finish. Reminiscent of early Marcassin Chardonnay, with fresh tropical citrus fruit hints, moving into a long elegant middle palate and a graceful finish. A less is more tour de force style that anyone frustrated by over the top chardonnay should seek out.

Sep 27th, 2015My 1st "Texture" Chardonnay courtesy of my bud Joe Lucca! @Joe Lucca The nose intrigue me., I definitely picked up beautiful citrus notes, orange zest, lemon zest., there's a tad of tartness intertwined throughout the palate.
Beautifully Structured. Awesome acidity which definitely leads you to think this has years of life left. It love to revisit in 5 or 10 to see its transformation.Everything is very much in balance.
Thanks Joe for sharing this beauty with me!
I rate it a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ with an upside of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ given some time in the bottle.
Thanks again bud!
