Terredora di Paolo
Corte di Giso Irpinia Falanghina
Tasted blind & thought a muscadet on lees or a Loire Sauvignon blanc blend. Just absolutely riveting when you consider the retail under 15$-this producer churns out a whole line of great QPRs, like their Aglianico. This has tang, definition, & soul, especially for a varietal I’m not an Uber fan of.

Jun 10th, 2019This bright straw-yellow wine from Campania’s Irpinia district is laced with expressive notes of menthol, ripe apple, botanical herbs and flowers. Rich and dense with a multilayered feel, the 2017 is tactile, complex and absolutely delicious. $18.00 (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, November 2018)

Nov 26th, 2018Thursday evening and tonight I have opened the 2017 Terredora Di Paolo Corte di Giso Irpinia Falanghina from the Campania Region of Italy North of Naples.
On the nose there is notes of green apple, banana, white flowers and a touch of herbaceous notes.
The palate shows notes of green apple, pear, stone fruit, wet river rock, a hint of herbs and good minerality.
The wine color is light straw yellow and medium in body, well balanced with medium + to high acidity that leads to a pleasing long crisp fresh fruit finish. This is a nice summer drinker at a great QPR. Enjoy your start of the weekend and let's stay safe out there. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
