I’m a blind taste test compared to a bottle 4x the cost, the majority of our group favored this Barbera. A nice smokey winter wine with notes of pepper, chocolate, and cherries. It gets better as you sip.

Certainly a different take on barbera.
Bits of metallic wear away after some air. Plum pit flesh, red grapes (Ha! Have to use that description every now and then), jolly rancher cherry.
Light tannins from what seem like neutral oak and skins.
Interesting enough - touched by acidic lingerers..
