Cork was crumbling, needed to decant but, wow! What a nose on this wine, deep ripe fruits and a warm note on the inhale. Swirling made the deep fruits even more pronounced. Hints of cinnamon hid in the background of oak and vanilla. Warming sensation in the mouth, really quite pleasant. Blackberries and cherry flavors with spicy undernotes made this a really pleasant experience. Expected this to open more on sitting, but didn’t as much as I expected. Rich coffee like sensation at the end. Nice wine.
