The dominant impression is butter, with the aroma of browned onions. There is apple, pineapple, and tropical fruit. Moderate acidity and salty but weak minerality, with oak and vanilla. This is probably a love it or hate it wine. I have friends who dislike Chardonnay with so much effect of barrels and lees. But everything has its place. I really liked this with shrimp and truffled garlic grits.

Perfect amount of French Oak, not over bearing. Nicely done. If I can find it I will buy a case.
