Great tannic Brunello w good mix of black dried fruit and herbal tobacco notes. Could cellar for longer but I like em grippy.

Ridiculously good. Refined. Balanced. Gorgeous red fruits with earthy tobacco and subtle smoked meats. One of my favorite wines I've tasted this year.

v07. Delicious. Smashed cherry and smoked meat nose. Fresh black cherry fruit. Dry, slightly tart, mocha , and earthy hints finish. Nice food wine.

2006 , 2007, and 2008 drink now or hold. This wine must be opened at least 3 hours prior to serving. Perfect pairing with prime rib.

Too bad, started out deep dark cassis, tar, tabacco, and chewy...after the first glass it went sideways and never came back. Very unbalanced, and I wound up with a fair bottle of Sangiovese .
