Another solid vintage of this consistent Barbaresco. Dark garnet color. Aromas of red cherry/berry fruit, tobacco and earth. Ripe red cherry/berry fruit also fills the palate along with notes of tobacco, spices and oak. Velvety texture. Not as delicate as your typical Barbaresco. High acidity and Moderate/high tannins. Red cherries juice diluted 3 to 1 in mineral water , roses and truffles. Notes of eucalyptus, violets and herbs… Faint hints of cinnamon and earth… Not impressed … At all … advertised 92 points someone had given … !!!? ??? … Puzzled
