A grape I have never tasted: Nero di Troya, from Puglia. This is probably not the best introduction for me. Extremely fruity, like fruit bomb fruity, blackberry, black cherry, black current. Tannins are clumsy, they are there, but kind of sticky. I know this is a warm climate wine but there is still not enough acidity to make it interesting. High alcohol. My conclusion? Meh.
