Our som last night was the great grandson of the person the wine is named after. Referred to as the “boom boom wine” because his great grandparents had 18 kids, this wine was fantastic. Fruity but bold. A great example of what the San gimingano terroir has to offer.

Tart and smoky with nice tannins.
We bought this in Tuscany in 2022 after enjoying it at the Torciano Winery. I'm glad to say it did not disappoint when trying it at home.

Lovely balance of fruit flavors with a robust finish. This bottle went very well with an authentic Italian pizza.

Выпито с И. Белым в Пересмешнике 27.03.2019. Одна из рядовых супертоскан 2013 года. Не произвела никакого впечатления, прямо скажем разочаровала. Игорь вёз эту бутылку из хозяйства, но это того не стоило.
