Intriguing Montepulciano. The nose is very strong and with good complexity. Earthy and animal at first, then fruity with a delicious marasca and red cherry. Tannic and medium bodied, but with good structure and acidity, I guess it could evolve even more beautifully should you give it some more years. I'm getting fond of Abruzzi wines !

Definitely one to let breathe. Light spicy notes on the finish when had with a tomato sauce

Nice and different. Almost effervescent. $13 from Ellwood or Once Upon a Vine South.
