My first single varietal Ciliegiolo! (Normally a Tuscan blending grape). Dark plum and black cherry fruit aromas and flavors. Hints of smoked meat, grilled herbs, fresh tilled soil and iodine. Smooth tannins and easy to drink. Bold, Dense and Interesting. Revisited in September 2021. Fresh and fruit forward. Great starter wine.
