This was tight and wound up on pop but 3 hours in the decanter created an expressive, substantive wine. The Cab franc predominates despite being a smaller percentage of the blend. Graphite, grilled bell pepper, damp underbrush, rich soil. Enjoyed deckside on an unusually humid San Diego Sunday 😥 I absolutely love all of Antinori's top shelf lineup.

Spicy, leather and earthy notes. Opens up to rich dark fruit. Ling finish. Needs some air and some more cellar time but a great bottle of vino. Always enjoy this wine. Such a solid wine everytime.
