Actually a Freisa. Medium–full bodied. Funky, farmy, and leathery. Sheepskin nose. Lush, velvety tannins. Wet granite, prunes, damp earthy mushrooms, tar, dried lilacs and roses.

An oldy moldy! Rich and stewy with sediment, perfect with pork shank, escarole, and white bean zuppa!
