Very respectable 2004. Very good year. This offering is not as good as other '04s we have had, but an excellent wine. Drinkable now, even without food, which is exactly what we are doing now. Enjoy!

Tight when initially opened. Within 30 minutes, notes of tomato paste, red cherry, cranberry, anise and wood mushrooms exuded from nose and palate. Delish!!

Decant 45 minutes. Dark, solid color. Very slight bricking on extreme edge. Dense, complex nose with leather, spice, dark fruit.
