Not too complex, but very bright and alive. 1985 was the first vintage for this Supertuscan.

1995 vintage. Huge bottle variation on this wine. I rejected a case about 6 months ago. But this bottle is much better. Great complexity on the nose - cedar wood, earth and leather, sweet spice and vanilla. Plummy wine. On the palate, not so good - on the way down, VA, too much swamp land going on. Not sure I can drink it. Shame - nose promised so much.
