Dense but juicy, showing a sappy quality, but plenty of extract nicely frames the red fruit and candied violet flavors. The long finish is given added punch by strong underlying minerality. A wonderful fragrance of dark plums and chocolate!
Drinks pretty well, with rich flavors or dark cherry, plum, apricot and cocoa, with a bit of spice and pepper lingering at the end.
