Although this 2009 DOCG Chianti Classico Riserva comes from a well respected producer of some notably good wines, I found this one lacking in comparison to other vintages. After breathing for an hour it did smooth out but the balance is a little hot for my taste. If you are interested in this label I suggest the 2010 or 2011's which I found to be very good, 14.5 ABL Cheers
