Big fun for vacation. Huge wine. Open for 90 minutes before first sip. Rich dark colour Notes of dark oak, cedar and tobacco on the nose. Still lots of tannin and despite the considerable grip well balanced and elegant. Truly lovely but can wait another 5 years for the next to see it evolve. Excellent wine - and I don’t say that very often!! #ornellaia
