Dark ruby in color with a short, dark purple rim.

Tart on the nose with blueberries, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, earth, spices, peppercorn, forest floor and vegetables.

Tart on the palate with cherries, plums, blueberries, strawberries, pomegranates, light oak, earth, dirt, peppercorn, spices and herbs.
Short Tart finish with round tannins and pomegranates.

This is a nice food wine from Tuscany. Unbalanced and not good just by itself. One additional year in the bottle might do some good. This wasn't for me, though.

I'm not sure about the blend, but I feel Sangiovese and Merlot for sure.

A Good wine to pair with Spaghetti and meatballs. I Paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Deep purple with light cherry red accents. Nicely refined nose of tobacco, roasted coffee, ripe strawberries, and stewed plums. There’s also some earthy, forest floor notes there, as well. Delightfully silky tannins and bright acidity do a good job of balancing each other out. Fruit abounds on the palate with more strawberries, black cherry, and pomegranate. Dried herbs, wet moss, vanilla, and hints of lemon and oak compliment. A really fun pour, this is more than just another table wine.

I let it air foe an hour. It's got a bit of a mangy smell behind it. It's the taste you have in your brain stem in the morning with a throbbing hangover after drinking a really nice bottle, that slightly rotten feeling of regret. Unfortunately before the nice bit. Try again.
