Was gifted this by a guest earlier and what a gift! Muscular nose, with leather and tobacco and dried herbs. Leathery on the palate, with some tart plums plums and ash on the long, long finish. I find a lot of Italian wines to be very acidic but this is super well balanced. The finish lasts for a good long time. Worth it.

I've always loved this wine & the 2010 does not disappoint. Needs a bit of decanting to open up but when it does it's awesome! Will definitely age well & only get better with time.

Sweat nose, making me imagine it has already been ready. But initially still feeling lots of tanning. More than one hour, very smooth and I am sure that it is quite higher level than 3rd one. Of course, 2010. 8 year's vintage. Excellent! @1750, Wineplus - , 180430-180615
