Etna Nerello Mascalese

Smooth and beautiful just like my Sicilian wife

Aromatic, cool, and savory. Fresh red fruits (carbonic?) with distinctive etna minerality, on an elegant frame. Recalls cru Beaujolais but with genuine varietal and terroir of its own rather sans the brett.

Smooth, elegant, thin as ray of light. Excellent wine

Plenty of red fruit flavors with some forest floor and minerality on the backend. Plenty of acidity and smooth tannins. A rustic wine.

Skight acidic tinge on the tongue but also fruit with earthy tannins. The acidity threw me however. Slightly carbonic.
