Leather and mint on the nose. Not much happening on the front, but there’s a lot going on starting mid palate. Interesting cool low notes balanced against some tart high notes. Very lonnnnng dusty finish that makes you want to wet your whistle again.

Very well “built” wine. Nicely balanced with good tannins. The taste reaches reasonably far into the palate. It lacks a bit of character. No fruit jumps out at you, and you don’t find yourself following different tasting themes. It sits there, happy in its craft. Goes well with red meat and rich pasta.
