Very well “built” wine. Nicely balanced with good tannins. The taste reaches reasonably far into the palate. It lacks a bit of character. No fruit jumps out at you, and you don’t find yourself following different tasting themes. It sits there, happy in its craft. Goes well with red meat and rich pasta. — 3 years ago

Really excellent with (effectively) tasting menu at Palazzaccio in Castelbuono. Sympathetic flavours for earthy and for delicate local ingredients (porcini, fresh ricotta, maialino, even asparagus mousse).
