Took a while to come out, thin and dry at open. But concentrated and blossomed nicely in glass and decanter, with lively bright red berry and persistent fine tannins in a smooth, leathery package with a French vibe. Wish I had more.

Dec 14th, 2015Taste and look of a classic old world style red. Smooth silky, structured, lots of berry, currant, pepper. The 2006 had a bit of a young / raw feel almost like it wasn't fully mature Sangiovese . I think I will hold my other bottle for another 3-5 years.
